Saints Chasing Midfielder With £22 Million Get Out Clause Wednesday, 26th Feb 2020 10:09 According to the media in Europe Saints are after an Austrian midfielder along with several other clubs, but all will have to pay 25 million euros get out clause. Saints are linked with Florian Grillitsch who has been one of ‘defining figures’ at TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga according to German media outlet sportbild. Saints, Newcastle Spurs and Inter Milan are all being suggested as being interested in the player. The 24 year old started his career as a youth player in Austria but was spotted by Werder Bremen, after breaking through into the first team he joined Hoffenheim in January 2017 and he is now being touted with a move away. His contract has two buy out clauses, one for clubs in lesser leagues and one for the big guns, so it's 20 million euros or 25 million if you are a Premier League club or of similar standing. Given that the January transfer window only closed a month ago, this is a very speculative attempt to alert the type of club his agent is wishing to tout him to as to his availability.
