Saints Issue Update For Supporters
Saturday, 4th Apr 2020 08:45

Southampton Football Club have updated season ticket holders and indeed all fans after football was again delayed further.

With the Premier League will not resume at the beginning of May and that the 2019/20 season will only return when it is safe and appropriate to do so Saints have issued an update to their supporters.

For information we publish it below.

Following the latest update from the Premier League around the 2019/20 season, the club would like to provide the following information to our Season Ticket and individual match ticket holders, as well as our hospitality guests.

Today’s Premier League statement confirmed that, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, games will not resume at the beginning of May — and that the campaign will only return when it is safe and appropriate to do so.

The club understands that supporters who hold tickets may have questions as a result of this. We would, therefore, like to advise the following:

- All match tickets purchased remain valid for any potential rearranged dates, should the games proceed as normal. They are not yet eligible for refunds. Should this situation change, we will communicate it to supporters immediately. This covers both general admission and hospitality purchases.

- In the event it is either not possible to play certain matches or for them to go ahead in front of supporters, we will communicate directly to all Season Ticket holders and seasonal hospitality guests the next steps.

As previously communicated, we have paused all match sale windows and have also delayed announcement of 2020/21 Season Ticket details until a later date as a result of the current situation.

We would also like to advise any fans who submitted refund details regarding travel arrangements for the away fixture at Norwich that we are in the process of contacting those individual and will be in touch soon, if we have not been already.

We appreciate these are uncertain times for our supporters, and we would like to thank them for their understanding at this time and wish them and their loved ones well.
