Southampton Dealt Big Blow For Trip To Leicester With Danny Ings Testing Positive Thursday, 14th Jan 2021 14:50 Saints will be without Danny Ings for the trip to Leicester City after it was revealed this afternoon that he has tested positive for Covid 19 and will need to self isolate , but there is also a worry that he may have already been infected when Saints beat Liverpool. Danny Ings will be unable to repeat his goal scoring feat of last year when he fired Saints to a 2-1 victory against Leicester City at the King Power and in doing so banished that defeat at St Mary's to the history books. But with his positive test for Covid 19 he will miss the clash and also the visit of Shrewsbury in midweek, however he could be back for game against Arsenal next weekend. However there is concern about when he was first infected and it could have been in his system as long ago as the victory against Liverpool 10 days ago, It will be a big miss for Saints but these are hard times and we have to see them through Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
