Sunday, 21st Mar 2021 09:57

Saints won't have long to wait to find out who they will play in the FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley with the draw being done today, but what time is it and where can you watch it ? Read on for the full details.

There are still two games to be played in the FA Cup quarter finals, Chelsea host Sheffield United at 1.30pm and then Manchester United travel to Leicester City at 5pm and the winners of those ties will join Saints in the last four.

But there is the small matter of making the draw and that will be made at half time of the second game meaning that for 45 minutes at least there will be 5 teams in the semi finals.

Fans can watch who Saints are paired with live on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer, at half-time of the coverage of Man Utd's trip to King Power Stadium. That is expected to be at around 5.45pm.

Saints will be ball number two in the draw.

The semi-finals of the competition are scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, April 17, meaning Saints' scheduled Premier League contest against Crystal Palace will now be rearranged.

For teams still involved in European competitions, One might wonder where they will put their first priorities with team selections on the day? On the face of it /and/ recent form, either Manchester side, or Chelsea might easily beat us with regular " bench players".

Would you prefer to win a European trophy , or the FA Cup ? Many fans would give one answer, but " Big Club " bosses, and some foreign managers might have second thoughts.
