Ward Prowse Out Of England V Poland Game With Injury
Wednesday, 31st Mar 2021 15:42

It has been announced that James Ward Prowse will take no part in England's World Cup Qualifier with Poland this evening as he has picked up an injury, he will be returning to Southampton and the Staplewood campus for treatment.

Saints have announced that James Ward Prowse has been pulled out of the England squad for this evening's game with Poland due to injury, although there is no information about just what sort of injury he is carrying.

They maintain it is just as a fitness precaution and hopefully he will be fit to play against Burnley on Saturday .

If it is just a slight strain then with four days to go before Sunday's game at St Mary's hopefully he should be fine.

Yet more proof that the National sides do not take sufficient care of players.

The game is actually on SUNDAY at 12 Noon !!

JWP would be a massive miss, but equally I guess we won't know the full state of fitness in our squad, until the likes of Armstrong, Adams, Vestergaard, Bednarek, Minamino and Djenepo all return from International Duty today/tomorrow.
