Those Saints supporters thinking of heading to AFC Totton on Friday evening to see a home side take on the likes of Matt Le Tissier, James Beattie and Wayne Bridge not to mention FA Cup winner David Peach are advised to buy tickets on line.

There is a big game up at the Snows Stadium on Friday and a star studded ex Saints side will take on an AFC Totton side augmented by a few mystery guests.

But with capacity limited due to the Covid 19 situation the game is heading towards a sell out with two days still to go before kick off.

Fans who are planning to go are therefore advised to buy tickets in advance as a late surge in sales has pushed the number of tickets already sold to the point were the capacity allowed under current regulations could be reached.

Being a fairly new purpose built stadium there is a fair amount of covered space if the weather should turn a little inclement.

The bars will be open from before the game until late and there will be food available on the evening.

It is hoped that the after match proceedings will be able to take place outside but if there is also plenty of socially distanced indoor space if the weather is not so kind.

Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for children 13-16 years old and OAP's a family ticket of 2 adults and 2 children will be only £20 and members of the Royal British Legion and key workers can come in for £5.

All proceeds will be donated to the EX Saints FC 's chosen charity of Southampton Schools Charities and to AFC Totton's chosen charity of Mountbatten Hampshire Hospice.

AFC Totton's ground is situated on Salisbury Road Totton next to the Calmore Roundabout and there is parking both at the ground and in the nearby Calmore Industrial Estate.
