Ralph Hasenhuttl's hopes of a full squad for the trip to Everton on Saturday have been boosted by the return to training of James ward Prowse, hopefully he will be fit and ready to take on the Toffee's

On Monday Saints supporters were not a happy bunch, not only had they lost the talisman of the team from the past few season's Danny Ings, but James Ward Prowse and ever present for two seasons had missed the friendly matches with an injury.

Although Ward Prowse had appeared happy and joking in the stands at these matches, the more cynical were suggesting that his absence on the pitch was more down to the fact that he was being linked with Aston Villa than any injury.

Add to that the fact that 5 days had gone by without a replacement for Ings being signed and there weren't many predicting anything other than defeat at Goodison Park.

But on Tuesday things changed, Ings was replaced by not one but two strikers, both with different attributes and complimentary to Che Adams and now James Ward Prowse has returned to training at Staplewood.

Suddenly Saints look to have a squad and more to the point with James Ward Prowse back in the midfield.
