Southampton Get Away Tie In Carabao Cup

Saints have found out their opponents in the last 16 of the Carabao EFL Cup, find out who they will face here.

The draw for the 4th round of the League cup has taken place as Saints bid to reach the final they last reached in 2017 when they lost to a late late goal to Manchester United 3-2.

Saints will travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea

The games will take place on October 26th-27th:and the full draw is as follows

Cheslea vs Southampton

Arsenal vs Leeds

Stoke vs Brentford

West Ham vs Manchester City

Leicester vs Brighton

Burnley vs Tottenham

QPR vs Sunderland

Preston vs Liverpool

SO !..........playing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge TWICE in a month.
That should be INTERESTING and we can see what sort of results Ralph can get out of that.

Someone needs to let the Football League know that we have a fairly decent ground in Southampton that we could can use for games!!!

Annoying with all these away draws. And Chelsea away? F*ck. But ok, Villa - with many fringe players in the team - gave Chelsea a good test on wednesday. We might get a draw and win on penalties or even win over 90 minutes if we produce a good game. Our tactics are more flexible now and the squad is better, and Ralph looks happy. I hope we go into the game with a win vs Wolves and a point in the PL game vs Chelsea.
After what we did at The Ehatid vs City we should be able to give Chelsea some serious problems.
