Although Chelsea have now been given a full allocation of tickets for the game at St Mary's on Saturday, Saints have imposed sanctions on their own supporters to ensure that tickets in home areas don't get snapped up by Chelsea fans.

Chelsea have been sent the normal 3,000 tickets for the game on Saturday, these went on sale on Friday and were soon snapped up by their supporters as you would expect.

But Southampton Football Club are keen to make sure that no home area tickets are sold to Chelsea fans.

Usually members and season ticket holders would be able to buy extra tickets if the game hasn't sold out, but Saints have stopped this for this game and now any remaining tickets will only be sold to members who have not yet bought a ticket or supporters with a previous booking history and limited to one ticket per supporter number.

Now that Chelsea have been allocated tickets, this might change as the number of desperate Chelsea fans has now diminished, but the club has not announced that yet.
