Ralph must be doing it on purpose. No one could be that incompetent.

That Saints might have to get something out of the last game of the season to avoid relegation says it all! Shambolically bad start with collective and individual errors at the back. But there was still time and opportunity to get back in it as at Brighton. But there was no urgency about the response, a collection of half or quarter chances only. Once again, you could question the decisions on the subs - needed to bring on Adams whereas Elyounoussi and Romeu changes did not make much sense. Odds on Ralf being replaced before start of next season are shortening…

Poor at the back. Poor up front. No lack of effort but it just isn’t gelling. The only bright moment was the way Adam Armstrong put his chance away. Shame it was offside. We lost the game in a 2 minute spell in the first half. Roll on the opening of the transfer window. We are desperate for some quality additions to the side.

Really unforgivable these last performances, getting tired of the same old excuses from Ralph only uses the same old reasons after every loss. We’re so pathetic at defending it has become to be expected each time we play.I have to say finally that it is time for Ralf to go l was never really on board with that but he has lost the plot his team selection and substitution’s leave a lot to be desired.Hope we can get a result in the next two games but will not be easy.

Clutching at straws to find something good to say, I thought Adam Armstrong looked good today.

Other than that, no one seemed to have much motivation, the subs were bizarre and the crowd turned on Ralph.

If I'm honest, I'm not really looking forward to the last 2 games. Saints, please prove me wrong.

What on earth was this performance it was one of the worst from a Saints team I have witnessed. The manager has lost the plot we had Romeo on the bench Dallio on the field two forwards that haven’t scored for weeks no subs until Elyounoussi was brought on who did absolutely nothing no more subs until the later end of game then it was too late. I’m afraid Ralph doesn’t have a clue how to change format when things goes against the team. All teams can be caught out on occasions but he doesn’t have the knack or knowledge to change system. He seems to be a one trick pony

Ralph is now on very thin ice. Something seems seriously wrong. To all the 'In Ralph We Trust' comrades I ask the simple question: What is so special about him that he can get away with serving up this dross? No other manager would have got away with it. Why him?

San Marco, I think that’s a fair question to ask.
My take on it is that we got to the QF of the FA cup and we were virtually safe in February, I would of taken that at the start of the season. Based on that I think he has earned a bit of wriggle room.
There are clearly issues within the squad around motivation, you never get the best out of players when they know they are leaving or better players will be coming in in the summer, just look at Man Utd.
I also don’t think we should downplay the level of stability he has brought to the club during the last part of the Gao years when we had to survive on a shoestring.
I’d give him one more season as this summer might see a clear out and a rebuild, especially if we cash in on JWP. If we don’t push on next season I would look to move him on then.

The truth is we don't have the payers, good enough, to play the system Ralph tries to play. How many times this season have we got caught out playing from or across the back and giving possession away.
Yesterday was slightly different, they targeted the space created by our full backs bombing up the pitch at every opportunity, leaving the Centre backs one on one, because we don't have the pace or positional awareness in central midfield. Add to that Bednareks lack of pace and the obvious fact that Salisu is positionally unaware and still learning his trade. I strongly believe that both are solid defenders and would thrive in a more balanced defence. I'm not sure whether Ralph is the right man or not but if he remains there is definitely a need for different thinking in both players and tactics!

Was anyone surprised at the performance or result? Beyond parody now. For the 5th season running we're relying on there being 3 teams worse than us.

If the form book goes to form Chelsea will hopefully beat Leeds which will keep us up. Pathetic. Something drastic needs to change at the club but I cannot see that happening so expect more of the same next season

Lmao... how pathetic. Not that I've been saying it for the past umm 18months... I still can't believe there are Ralph lovers out there, its almost as if those people are Pompey supporters dressed in Red and White.

At the moment, I'm glad I placed £20 on the bookies 80-1 odds of us being relegated.
