Trio Benefit From Card Amnesty
Trio Benefit From Card Amnesty

Johnnie Jackson, Adam Virgo and Dean Hammond will all escape a one-match ban should they receive a fifth booking in the remaining games of the season.

With yesterday being the final game of the month, the FA's yellow card amnesty now kicks in for those players who have received less that five booking this season. Jackson, Virgo and Hammond will all benefit most from this ruling, having picked up four cautions so far this campaign.

Mark Yeates is the one other U's player to be cautioned on four occasions this season, but with the Irishman being signed off injured until the summer, this ruling will have no impact.

Meanwhile, Kem Izzet, who has received six bookings so far, will still received a ban should he reach ten in the remaining thirteen games.
