Dragan Solak Makes Huge Statement About Keeping Leo Scienza Tuesday, 14th Jul 2026 13:21 There was a lot of talk about who will go and who will stay at Southampton Football Club back in May, however the club have stood strong and now owner Dragan Solak has put a massive price out there for anyone wanting to but Leo Scienza. According to footballleagueworld.co.uk Southampton will want at least £35 million if they are to entertain offers on Leo Scienza. They are quoting BBC Radio Solent’s Adam Blackmore, who claims that Scienza has been valued by Southampton owner Dragan Solak at around £35 million. Blackmore said:
With the Brazilian under contract at St Mary's for another 3 years, the club is under no real pressure to sell financially. But Solak knows that a high price will deter most clubs as Scienza who will turn 28 in just two months time, would have a sell on value of only a fraction of that price once he goes past the 30 years old mark. I don't think even Solak believes Scienza is worth that much, but the Sport Republic supremo is making a statement of intent, if someone thinks they are going to get Scienza on the cheap then they are mistaken, Southampton FC would rather keep the player than sell him, buy every player has his price and you have Scienza's. This will put off a lot of clubs, but it will be interesting is anyone will try and test Solak's resolve, the truth is that given his age and even a valuation at half of Solak's, it would take most Premier League clubs out of the running.
Scienza will be on a good contract at St Mary's and that would also see him find it hard to better his current deal either in England or back in Germany. However when the silly season opens in earnest in the final weeks of August we ill have to brace ourselves.
