The Tykes clearly have not forgiven us for John Pearson (or Peter Ridsdale) !

Fellow Leeds comerades, I jumped the gun a bit Thursday night!

It is Karaoke night in my local on Thursdays and I was in a rush to get out, so I took quotes from very reliable sources for granted - as well as murdering two Smiths classics, one by Harry Connick JNR and one Frank Sinatra song.

It appears that Barnsley have not added their name to our writ against the FL demanding our fifteen points back, even though the FL claimed they were "surprised" to learn of Barnsley's support for Leeds and so was Tykes chairman Gordon Shepard who moved swiftly to put the record straight.

"this is their fight, not Barnsley's."

In my Thursday night witterings, I may have implied that I was delighted to see the Tykes knock Liverpool out of the FA Cup. I must however move quickly to deny such comments and hope the Barnsley fans will happily return to their whippets and coal-mines once Chelsea turn them over in the next round!
