Crooks off to join Celtic contingent
Crooks off to join Celtic contingent

Dale midfielder / defender Lee Crooks looks like leaving Spotland, after conference side Farsley Celtic announced to the BBC their intention to bring in Crooks on loan.

Crooks, who is 30, has found it difficult to break into the Dale side this season, and despite racking up ten appearances, he hasn't appeared for Dale since our trip to Macclesfield in late December.

If he does end up at Farsley, he'll join up with two familiar faces in the form of Mark Jackson and Rory Prendergast, both of whom have been plying their trade at the Throstle Nest in recent weeks.

Jackson joined last Summer, whilst Prendergast joined up following his release from Dale, though he was sent off for foul and abusive language during the week.

Farsley hope to secure his loan signing before the weekend to help out with their bid against relegation from the non league.
