The flamboyant utility man has always been keen to demonstrate his acting skills on the pitch and is eager to use this experience for a potential career after football.

Eboue has featured regularly in the side this season, both at right back and right wing but has refused to deny rumours that he is set to sign for Atletico Madrid in the summer. His future career plans do not end with his interest in a move to Spain however, as the Ivorian explained in a recent interview on the official website:

"I would like to be like Eddie Murphy, the comedian. I love to watch the movies and I always say that after football I dreamed to be an actor. I say that all the time.

"I would love to be an actor in Hollywood and why not? I always try to make people happy."

The thought of Eboue conquering Hollywood is a brilliant one but the fact he dreams of an acting career does explain some of his more relaxed performances in an Arsenal shirt. Not many fans would lose sleep if this bizarre character was to leave the club but his jovial nature can only be a good thing for the morale of the squad.
