Richardson Gets The Cold Shoulder
Richardson Gets The Cold Shoulder

New Saints signing Frazer Richardson could be out for three months after dislocating his shoulder at the Swiss training camp.

By all reports Richardson had jumped to head the ball in a training session and landed awkwardly, he immediately went back to the UK for a scan and a subsequent operation.

Although this has gone smoothly it still means that Richardson will be out for around 12 weeks, ironically it came only days after the announcement of the signing of Danny Butterfield who although can play in several positions is essentially a right back.

Butterfield now looks sure to start the season in this position, however Saints will have few options other than playing left sided Dan Harding in the right back berth should Butterfield also be unavailable.
