One of my Dad's claims to fame was he sold Ken Hensley from Uriah Heap a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in 1975! We also got a signed solo album from "Eager to Please" !!
My all time favourite heavy metal piece. On my last day in one school about 4 years ago, I put this on full blast for my second years, got them to move all the tables and chairs, go down on their knees and let rip with their air guitars! The Principal came in half -way through and left again - I was unsackable!! In my current school, the new year has just began. The students and I are all masked up and each desk is precisely one metre apart so can't dare be touched - different times indeed! Was at a brilliant Pogues gig - fronted by the one and only Shane MacGowan - back in the eighties. It was the only gig I was ever at where the band were more p1ssed than the crowd!!
Lucky enough to see Bon Scott with AC/DC twice on the Highway to Hell tour in late 1979, just before he passed away. When we used to go to the Bandwagon in Kingsbury during these days, it was headbanging madness when Rosie was played.
