Dale Trust contact EFL over "homophobic, offensive and aggressive comments& on 22:03 - Aug 11 by Beast6666 | As obnoxious as these shady people appear to be, the ott outrage by fans is comical. I totally agree that there are many small minded people in Rochdale - why would that offend or come as a surprise to anyone ? How often do people allude to resolving disputes in a boxing ring but it’s a figure of speech. Nancy boys is offensive but you hear so much worse in the pub or on a match day . Homophobic offensive and aggressive ? What a woke snowflake response. Obnoxious individuals? Absolutely, but get things into perspective folks. |
How long have you lived in or around the good people of Rochdale to be able make your considered judgement about many of them being 'small-minded'? Pray tell. How often do people in Rochdale allude to settling disputes in a boxing ring? Virtually none in my experience. Then again, I'm not interested in subjecting anyone to violence. You hear so much worse in the pub? Very true, but your average pub-goer isn't interested in, nor has the means to be financing the take-over and ownership of a professional, 114-year old,well-established, well-run English Football League club. Those wishing to do so should display honesty, integrity, professionalism and respect. The objections are nothing whatsoever to do with being 'woke' (another ridiculous phrase). Perspective? Indeed. We are in the throes of a hostile takeover bid, instigated by a few disaffected no-mark idiots who thought they could make a few quid by stabbing the club and the fans in the back, when their true colours were exposed along with their dirty dealings. Then they tried to sell us down the river to some sharks lurking below the surface. Guess what? The dedicated fans of OUR club got stuck in, rolled their sleeves up and started to expose this whole shower of sh!t for what it is. The people involved, the names associated with them (tick your own name from the lengthy list available on a variety of threads) all the apparent financial skullduggery behind the scenes, the denials of the main players when confronted with the facts. Why would you deny involvement in the events? Something to hide, maybe? Frightened of the glare of publicity? The HMRC? Essex Constabulary perhaps? Who really knows? One thing you can absolutely guarantee though, is that the good people of Rochdale won't ever sit back whilst some dodgy Chas and Dave fans try to inveigle themselves into OUR club, with nefarious intentions. There's no OTT outrage here. The outrage is well-founded given the characters and apparent backgrounds of the people involved and the underhand way in which matters have been conducted. The message should be clear by now. We don't want you anywhere near OUR club. To paraphrase that famous lass from Rochdale: " Wish us luck as you wave us goodbye, cheerio, off you go, on your way" Try your luck elsewhere.

May I ask as Mr Curran posted yet, we seemed to have had Jarvis, Denise and Rose posted to justify the takeover, the questionable business practices and behaviour, besides the unacceptable language used by the crooks. What name could he use?

Great post. Apart from "Try your luck elsewhere". These parasites can stay away from every football club in the land.

The one I chose had his name nested in it. But then he came out and made a statement. Interestingly, he is STILL using Jarvis as his mouthpiece. Curran must have cajones of steel to allow that loose cannon to say anything other than "no comment" on his behalf
