Just found out for a pretty reliable source that saints have had a bid excepted by Lyon, and just have to sort out personal stuff with Dembele now (aka contracts and such), but it does seem like we’re just about to sign him!
This transfer market sure has shown of how this new owner sure is backing us and that we will finally get more investment in and won’t be having to sell our best players to buy new ones anymore! So nobody should be complaining about investment or such if this deal goes through, as it’s the most we’ve ever had, and by a long way too! |  |

But I guess it’s all down to who you trust and if any details have been muddled/messed up when being passed on. As for all we know, all these rumours could’ve started from 1 person and have spread down through to others like how food webs/a family tree would look like, which can become very complex at times.
And even then, that 1 person may have just wanted to start a rumour with it all being BS, or might have just heard something at Staplewood but nit actually been directly involved in the deal.
But look, it’s pretty clear that there is something going on between saints and Dembele, and that the deal could go through. It’s just the things we don’t know are the ones like when this will happen, what’s delaying it and does this deal rely on any exterior deals to not place/do take place for it to actually fall through.
But hopefully we’ll find out soon, as there’s now more names emerging as potential striker signings, which as time passes, only makes it more likely that this was all a load of BS/there were issues that never got resolved as part of this deal. | |

You’d actually be surprised by how many are true, it’s just the club doesn’t actually put in a bid for the player or somewhere along the line an issue emerges meaning that the transfer just never happens. As of course we only ever find out of whether a rumour was true or not down to whether we sign/sell that player, but any where we almost did/attempted to, unless it’s made public (which is very rare), we won’t find out about.
So no not all are true, but a majority of the proper rumours are, it’s just what level of interest we’ve got in them can vary. | |

Next day, Football fancast writes again that there is no news on the possible transfer of player x to that club.

Never click bate sight, as I was literally told by someone who I know (for a fact) had connections to people in the first team who do get to hear/are involved with the transfers side of things. So I was obviously gonna believe them as they’ve told me things that have been true before, and even nick said that he’d heard off of many different sources the exact same thing, and that it was just a matter of time until something happened. | |
