Unfortunately it wasn’t a pen, as enough saints fans have said it wasn’t and even the usual lot on MOTD agreed it wasn’t a pen. As the main thing that’s frustrating is rather the fact that we all know that as some point this season we will get that decision against us, even though it shouldn’t be given. As that’s the frustrating thing with VAR, as it’s the inconsistency with certain rules, as it’s only offside that they’ve done really well on, everything else is improving, but is still far too inconsistent.
But look if they don’t give them for or against us for the rest of the season then fair enough as it’s not a handball, but as we all know it unfortunately will happen | |

Yeah and like I said in the other thread, I agree with him as to what I can remember, that’s been the only BLATANT VAR mess up so far this season, and was annoying that they get our ones right but other ones wrong, but that doesn’t remove the fact that it’s unfortunately still not a pen for us. | |

Loada crap he literally pats at the ball with both arms .
If this was up the other end with Ronaldo chesting to try and control the ball with salisu or any of our players in close proximity , it would have been a penalty and probably a red card too .
