Not heard from Chalky recently, but noticed that Notts County have run a promotion today and will play in front of a sell out crowd of over 16,000 against Yeovil today. They recognised that the fixtures before Christmas are hard to sell and with them wanting to cement their lead at the top of the table and take advantage of the top two leagues not playing for a while, they ran a promotion. £5 for adults and £1 for kids and they have filled the stadium to create a record breaking non league crowd for a league fixture.
