| Ref abuse 18:14 - Feb 5 with 4930 views | Heisenberg | Why can’t they do something about the shouting in the refs faces and surrounding him. Watching Spurs v Man C it’s a complete joke. Just start sending a few off and it will be sorted. | |

| Ref abuse on 20:49 - Feb 5 by SFC_Referee | Maybe for other things, but dissent then no, as it just soo very rarely happens and is never anything major being a second yellow or straight red with an indirect free kick being awarded due to it occurring in open play. |
"but dissent then no" "But like I previously said, they’re only ever yellow, never straight red cards or a second yellow" "Which is exactly why I can’t even remember the last time a player was given a second yellow/straight red for dissent based reasons, in the prem, as it just never happens. " "Still find me a recent one of those and I’d be impressed! " LOL aged well.

Yeah well at the time of writing those messages it had been ages since anything like what’s happened today had previously occurred, and that’s exactly why soo many were soo shocked by it all and loads of people weren’t even certain over what it even was for, but I’m happy to see refs actually sticking up for themselves and giving players more disciplinary action for dissent! Just gotta keep it up and continue to do it now

Did she say what he said/did to get the cautioning? As I’d be interested in what it took to make the ref actually have the balls to give a second yellow for dissent, which just never happens

Stream ( super sport? ) i was watching, commentators said it was harsh, but said Lamina should have known better than to run 30 yards to shout at the refs face while already booked.

Well from what your saying that’s probably what he was cautioned for in the first place then, as you can’t (or at least shouldn’t be able to) just run that far directly at the ref, shouting stuff at him. Still fair play to Gillett
