DeSantis, Trump, Abbot, Halry or A.N.Other?

Frankly,I am not bothered by these allegations or the defence which you find for them.
Trump is entitled, arrogant ,devious ruthless trash who has ,does and will manipulate anyone to feed his already considerable wealth and arrogance .
When you look at him and his grotesque preening what do you really think. By that,I mean what does your gut tell you.
What do you see ?
Honestly

You are confusing wanting to be friends with him with acknowledging he’s a far better President than the usual nonsense we are served up.

I am not defending him, I’m defending common sense and democracy. I couldn’t care less if he paid a porn star to not come out and sell a story. I couldn’t care less if Biden did the same, it makes absolutely no difference to anything.

There is not a President in history that you probably would have liked on a personal level, you have to be a certain type of person and have certain types of ruthless traits with a fair dollop of arrogance.

What he’s like as a person has no impact on me, we will likely never be in the same room together.

However what he achieved in those 4 years can be put up against any President in my lifetime, and stand tall over most - if not all. What he stands for, against this cancel culture woke-ness which is destroying the West bit by bit is extremely attractive to individuals who don’t subscribe to group think and think autonomously.

It’s incredibly refreshing to have someone in power who doesn’t pretend there is a thousand genders and pretend that the countries police force a racist bigots just to fall in line with social trends. Says it as it is and is completely unapologetic with it.

The media hate the fact he cannot be controlled so they made him public enemy number 1. I don’t fall for media rubbish, despite some being absolutely punch drunk on it.

Simple as that.

He’s a demagogue and a moron. Although it’s probably true he’s preferable to most of the useless fresh off the conveyor belt identikit politicians we usually get imposed on us it doesn’t mean he’s actually a desirable choice or good in his role. Yogi might be smarter than the average bear but I still wouldn’t want him or indeed any other bears running the country.

The choice we have on both sides of the Atlantic every election is always crap. We are constantly voting for who would we think would be the least bad.

Trump vs Biden what a choice.

While we are on the subject I was reading about Theodore Roosevelt who a century or so ago got shot in the chest from nearly point blank range with a powerful revolver whilst going to give a speech. The notes from his speech were in his jacket pocket and were so thick they are believed to have slowed the bullet down saving him from certain death. Although he was seriously injured and was losing a lot of blood he was determined to deliver his speech because people had made the effort to come out and see him and he stood there for two hours in the icy cold reading from bullet ridden notes and refused to go to hospital until the speech was finished.

Now I’m not saying Roosevelt was perfect by any stretch but compare and contrast that personal strength, the courage, the sense of duty and determination with what we see today. Bidens team refusing to let him do press conferences and him struggling to read simple sentences off a teleprompter. Or Boris hiding in a fridge. Or someone like starmer isolating about thirty times because of covid. Or labour MPs crying in parliament because someone said “humbug” or referred to someone with the wrong pronouns. Millionaire super powerful Princes of the realm attempting to paint themselves as horrendously oppressed victims.

Where did we go wrong?

We have demonstrable historical comparisons.

We have seen what America can achieve with him at the helm, it was certainly desirable. It’s the richest people have ever been, the most productive the country has ever been, the least unemployment and people of all races thriving.

That’s all you need, what he does in his private life or how he is as a person shouldn’t interest anyone other than his family and friends.

People treat it like it’s a celebrity gossip mag.

It’s politics.

I am in no way confusing anything .
This is as he appears to me.
Your narrative clearly gives the impression you are defending him.
I will repeat,mo#t people recoil when h3 pops up on the screen .
His trophy wife seems to be taking @ lower profile these days but she will be used when appropriate.

Granted Biden is an intellectual free zone and if Trump is the alternative then the Sky is crying

If he became POTUS again what he's like as a person actually could impact on you.

The Stormy Daniels thing, I don't care if he tupped her either BUT what do care about is did he commit a financial fraud and broke election rules to do so.

You often say you are not defending Trump but it is clear you are and saying otherwise is definitely not common sense or logical. You jump on any negative comment about him and tell the poster they are wrong, that is a defence whichever way you look at it, whatever the reason you continually defend him.

PS, when you claim that you use autonomous thinking when defending Trump then it should be obvious that you are not, you are thinking like a very large group of people who live in the USA, they would agree with you, they think like you...you think like them, no autonomy there.

I'll say it again, Trump or Biden, Bojo or Corbyn, we were screwed either way.

One last thing as you clearly do not remember accurately, on the riots triggered by Biden and Harris's rhetoric, I did agree with you. What they said triggered terrible scenes just as what Trump said also triggered terrible scenes at Capitol Hill. Even if he did not inyend the trouble to happen, he incited the crowd to march on Capitol Hill, he got them all worled up with his hyperbole and false claims of election fraud.

What he’s like as a person has no impact on me, just like it didn’t the last time he was in power.

Again, I’m not defending anyone, I’m defending the notion of common sense and democracy. Going after someone to try and find literally anything wrong they have done, no matter how small and petty, in order to stop them becoming President is not something anyone should be happy about.

Especially when it’s clear the people trying to stop him becoming President are committing far more serious transgressions left, right and centre. Go after everyone with exactly the same vigour and I’ll be all aboard, selectively do it as a means to retain political power and it becomes a completely different story.

You didn’t agree with me because I never once thought Biden and Harris caused any riots, they certainly didn’t help - but they were not the cause. Trump also had nothing to do with Jan 6th, there was already a planned protest to March to the Capitol and protest, in his speech he simply encouraged people to do that peacefully.

Except the media always cut that bit out when they show it - why do you think that is? Be honest.

There is absolute autonomy in the way I think, other people that would agree with me makes no difference to that. Autonomy is the power to think and reach conclusions without influence, I’m not influenced by anybody.

The fact that what I say resonates with an awful lot of people who would also reach the same conclusion is irrelevant, just shows the strength of the thought itself.

Nobody supports BLM with autonomy, because it’s built on lies - it’s an idea planted in the brain that that media then waters and feeds. Same goes for new gender rules and language mutations, nobody just realised this one morning all together in an instant, it’s an idea that was fed and watered and spread like wildfire.

I defend common sense against these fed and watered narratives. Trump being the big bad Wolf is one of these fed and watered narratives which is why when you ask someone what they don’t like about his Presidency - they usually can’t answer and end up saying something personal about him.

That’s media, and they have got many by the short and curly’s.
