Save our football club 07:49 - Feb 21 with 1767 views | Dalenet | A new day and we need to take action to see whether the people of Rochdale will rally round in our hour of need. Can we run a media campaign to get people to turn up over the next 3 games in their thousands? Putting an extra £100k into the coffers through ticket sales should keep us going through to the end of the season. The club won't do it but the fans and The Trust could. Or am I barking up the wrong tree
Save our football club on 08:07 - Feb 21 with 1704 views | 442Dale | It looks like the media campaign has begun already. The narrative has been set and it’s up to fans to somehow try and find out what other options there are and which is the best one. Not that your idea isn’t a good one, but even if that extra money goes into the club, what would be the longer term plan? We’ve seen over the last three seasons what the club’s ability is like when it comes to planning and the ability to run the business effectively. There are so many unanswered questions that often don’t make sense when you think the subjects through. One such example, why launch an ‘Executive Club’ last week to then follow up with yesterday’s statement? Imagine if you were a business who did sign up, then a few days later read articles on the BBC like this: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68353473

100% agree that my thinking was a sticking plaster to get us to the end of the season only. The National League is to hold a special meeting to discuss our plight given we have publicly said we might not get through the season. What a mess. And Yes we need a lot more thinking for the way forward.

Where’s that about the National League holding a meeting? Had a quick look but can’t find anything. Your last sentence says it all, that’s what creates so much frustration and anger because the thinking was done and ignored time and again. Requests for clarity.as well. It didn’t need to be like this, but apathy was allowed to creep in despite the warnings.
