Referees have become lazy as well as incompetent. They expect VAR to continually bail them out in the Premier League and the incompetence is is knocking on down from there. The penalty area anything goes it is unbelievable, shirt pulling is now an acceptable part of the game an foul throws go unpunished. I won't even discus blatant cheating. |  | | |

Even after a ref stops play and “ warns” them , they go back and carry on
It’s simply farcical
Going off at a tangent , it’s not unlike excreable rugby referees warning front rows then take no notice , whilst the scrum half puts the ball directly at the feet of the second rows
