| Schooligans ? 10:35 - Nov 7 with 847 views | Demitrius | I wasn't sure which board to post this on but opted for this one. Feel free to move it if you see fit. Anyone watch non-league or the Cymru Premier? I used to watch Maidenhead home and away as well as the Swans and have noted this creeping in in recent years. Either last year or the season before I saw a group of around 10 of our teenagers chasing some opposition fans back to station and dishing out a few slaps. I was a bit taken aback. I guess it's because they want a tear up but it's cheaper to do it with your local pyramid club than pay double to go to a professional League club ? I'll be disappointed if this grows into a nationwide problem and results in restrictions as in my experience non-league fans mix in the ground and clubhouse and you can take a beer on the terrace and to your seat and there was never any bother even when we played Newport or Merthyr. Welsh flags on display next to English ones. No problems whatever the result. https://www.theguardian.com/fo [Post edited 7 Nov 11:12]

Also, after the WHU game we walked back to the car in Cwm Level Rd. At the top of the hill about 20 youngsters (looked school age) all dressed in the standard black, some with face coverings heading back down, taking about looking for WHU. I'm sure they'd have run a mile if they found a few.

The ages of these kids would have seen them conscripted in WW1 Many lied about their age to fight for what they fought was worthy I look at forums of football “ crews” and shake my head Hard / tough ; just fook off That they boast about smashing up town centres thirty years later shows why many detest football and its followers What is clear to me is that teens now are more vacuous and naive than any previous generation They know nothing , not even reality Lost souls
