Why is it other teams always “suss us out” yet we don’t suss other teams out ? Who does our home work on other teams?

You feel Edwards would improve us.

What I've seen of Edwards has been disappointing to say the least.

He was raved about by QPR and we all looked forward to seeing him play for us. At first he couldn't establish himself after getting bullied and out paced by Kiffer Moore in the first game and giving away a stupid penalty.

He then came back into the lineup and was given the run of games that I thought would allow him to settle down and show his ability.

Unfortunately imo he has never impressed.
Bullied at the back post by the Derby striker which they scored from, a bad error for the Preston opener and that was me done with him.

Less Centres on the pitch would serve us better as they're all mediocre.
I'd get Charles back from injury and play him in midfield with Downes and Jander.

Rene House from the Echo was hinting a couple of days ago at Shea Charles having had an injury setback.

Poll: Would you take going down to League 1 if it meant new owners coming in?

Fair enough Pat.

Would love the club to show real ambition and bring in a quality CB, Keeper and big no 9 .

Unfortunately clown republic seem hellbent on turning us into yet another run of the mill championship club.

How far have we fallen since they've taken over.

I am not sure how it can be said that these same players who tore Charlton apart, thrashed Birmingham, Leicester, WBA scoring lots of goals are suddenly "too similar" . They were the same similar players who won 5 1 a few weeks back.

This was Oxford. No disrespect intended, but they certainly haven't spent 50 million on the team, they have only won one game in 10 and were in the bottom three! We can't beat them because Oxford "sussed us out"??? We have much more expensive players than they have, and we can't suss them out??? This wasn't just a one off bad day either. We also lost to another team.in the bottom three at Norwich the week before.

There was an article from.Nick "Why is there so much hate on social media?"
Many fans could see us losing to Norwich and losing to Oxford. They predicted what was likely to happen. It's embarrassing, it's humiliating and a reminder of just far we have dropped since Sport Republic began destroying this club. We just knew that a performance like we got at Oxford was coming. There is an inner anger inside our long suffering fans about the laughing stock we have become. There is a lazy culture in the club, a lack of ambition, and a culture of excuses. Why is it three or four of our best players can't last 90 minutes? It's pathetic in my opinion. Get them fitter!!

These players wanted Tonda, got excited that Still was gone played really well for a few weeks, hot Tonda the job, now they are back to barely lifting a finger. We need an experienced manager, some really ambitious statements of intent and some determination from all at the club. It's just utter sh!t from top to.bottom. Watching Villa go third in the PL, with top players lasting the whole game, a superb manager in Emery, just reminded me of the complete c@ck ups at Saints and what we could have become.

Lose to Pompey, play like a bunch of wet puppies and collapse like a paper tower, it will be too much to bare.

Well put together opinion Southamptonfan, which no sensible Saints fan could possibly argue with.

The penultimate paragraph in particular, which identifies what we need management and intent wise.

I’ve posted in Nick’s revue of the Oxford debacle that we also need a proper centre forward, a proper centre half and a proper goal keeper and have done so for season after season.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe we will get any of what you and I want with our current Owners and their employees at Sports Republic remaining in control of our club.

It’s my belief that the wishes of the majority of the fans and the Owners and Sports Republic are now simply incompatible and fractured beyond repair.

We want a competitive football team. It increasingly appears to me that they only want ( and have achieved ) a Player Trading Business and Fun Fair.

Unless ownership of our club changes very soon I’m truly beginning to wonder whether the love affair with the Saints for the likes of you and I has nearly reached the end game.

I wish they would sell up and leave.
