It occurs to me that we have perhaps now simply reached a tipping point.
Sport Republic appear primarily concerned with running a Player Trading business ( buying short/selling long ) first, and a Leisure business ( Hospitality,Fan Zones,The Dell Pub and Level One ) second, whereas us fans want a competitive football team.
I’m increasingly of the opinion that the objectives of Sports Republic and the wishes of Southampton Football Club’s fans are no longer the same and that will remain so until one or the other departs St Mary’s.
Sports Republic show no signs of departure so sadly I expect there will be vast numbers of empty seats very soon on match days for the foreseeable future.
