I went to the rugby at HD in the Summer (the England rugby union game one). It was great to go and get up and get a pint whenever we wanted, drinking it watching the game.
However, I wasn’t that arsed about the game so wasn’t bothered about the constant moving around to let people into seats etc. I just don’t think it would work at the football, it would be a pain in the arse. It’s sound if you’re having a pint in the posh seats, you wouldn’t miss much of the game getting served, getting in and out of your seat etc. Being in a big stand though, it just wouldn’t work for me. | | | |

It's bad enough now if you sit in an aisle seat with people wandering up and down. Plus if you go to the 20:20 cricket, some people seem to spend more time in the beer queue than actually watching the match.

This brings back a memory to me of when I used to visit Liverpool as a kid and got taken to Anfield or Goodison Park by my cousins.
One year Liverpool were playing at home to Juventus in a European Cup game and I was supposed to meet my cousin outside the Boys entrance.
By mistake I ended up in the Kop, which was an experience in more ways than one.
As a nipper I couldnt see a great deal but what fascinated me was the amount of older blokes who used to use rolled up newspapers as funnels to piss into.
