I remember saying early last season that if McCarthy played in goal for the rest of the season, we'd be relegated and we would have been. We've got to hope that young Bazunu can cope immediately with the Premier League because the same applies this season. Bazunu certainly looks very promising but the best PL goalkeepers are usually in their late 20s and early 30s.
By the way, what an inspirational headline that is and combined with the photo accompanying it of Ralph and the boys celebrating not losing a game 9-0, must surely drum up an extra thousand or so season ticket sales. [Post edited 16 Jun 2022 15:20]
