Was that our resident ref on BBC this morning? If so, good performance

Poll: Where do you hope to see Salisu start (OK, I know we haven't seen him yet)?

Weekly LOTG quiz

Q1= An arial ball is coming in, a Team A defender has a Team B attacker right on him, so intentionally plays the ball back to his keeper by playing it mid air with his knee. The Team A keeper picks it up with his hands. What do you do now?

Q2= Team A is on the attack, with an attacker through on goal, 1 on 1 with the keeper, with just 1 defender behind him. The team B defender is just behind the attacker and begins to pull his shirt outside the box, but continues to do so inside the box, with this shirt pulling causing the team A attacker to go down inside the box. What do you give now?

Q3= A team A player is on the attack and through on goal, but whilst doing so their shoe accidentally falls off. But they continue to play on and just after the show falls off shoots and sends the ball into the back of the net. What should happen now?

Poll: Who’s everyone’s player of the season?

That's the one.

Sounds a bit cryptic... . Some good points anyway.

Answers to the LOTG questions.

A1= You just play on as there’s been no offences. As for an offence to have been committed you need to have kicked the ball (which has to be with the foot or ankle) intentionally back to the keeper.

A2= You give a penalty and a red card. As it’s still a red card for DOGSO even with the pen, as the “double jeopardy law” isn’t used as the pulling isn’t a genuine attempt to play the ball.
And it’s a penalty as any offence that continues into the box/started in the box but carried on to outside the box (or any other situations where an offence is committed both in and out of the box) will always be a penalty.

A3= The goal stands, as the law is that if a players shoe or shinguard accidentally falls off during open play, then play shall continue until the ball is out of play (during which they need to put it back on) but anything that occurred during open play shall still stand/be valid.
