No they didn’t do us a favour whatsoever!
As we could’ve actually had a chance of winning something this year with how many of the big teams had been knocked outta the FA Cup, and how at least 1 non prem team are going to Wembley.
Whilst us going down is practically a fact, and now we’ve lost the cup that’s our season over and done with, with absolutely nothing to play for whatsoever this season now.
As these days I’d easily take winning the FA Cup and going down rather than winning bugger all and staying up |  |

We were poor. But when you are playing against the officials too what chance have you got?
We should have been given two penalties in the first half before they had their first. And am for their second, the way he went down was embarrassing and the ref just give it, and this was after mcarthy collected the ball.
They were niggling at each other and i expected them to be talked to... But no... Let's give them another penalty. For nothing. Bias ref giving them fouls from the slightest touch, yet our lot, shite as they are were fouled time and again with next nothing given .
Said it before. We wont ever be allowed to win anything.
Where were our other new signings tonight,? Surely a time to get game time? |  |

Well we’re certainly more likely up win those games then we are to stay up! I mean we’ve gotta win like another 7 games to manage to stay up which is like half of our game’s remaining!
Yet to of win the cup for once, if we’d won last night all it took was 1 win against Brighton and then two trips to Wembley, a place where anything can happen!
As I don’t think you need to be doing something a bit more than just smoking anything to seriously think that we’ve more of a chance of staying up than we did actually winning something! | |

I dunno what the two penalties you thought we should’ve had were? As if your on about that blatant dive from Djenpo then sorry but that was never a pen and all us lot in the Itchen North were all quite pissed off with him for going down soo easily and just doing such a blatant dive when we actually had a chance if he’d of stayed up. But the other peg we should’ve had I’m not too sure on which one you mean?
But for their ones, yeah well the first one I’m not even sure myself as it’s got no intent and his hands still by his sides so I could see that being both given and not, but it’s the second one that baffles me! As it’s still stupid off of CC to even risk it in the first place, and even more so in the box! But still how he can give it for a little slap when it’s going both ways is ridiculous, and on top of that what was with the major delay!?
As I’m 99% certain that one of his AR’s or his 4th official that saw this incident and told him over comms of what happened, as if that’s not the case then he’s clearly just guessed after he saw their lad go down, and VAR was never gonna overturn that.
Still certainly wasn’t the best game from him…
But ether way when we’re against a team closer to the Non leagues than they are league 1, we should always be beating them, irrelevant of how amazing or poor the match officials are!
As I’ve always said that refs can make a game harder for a team, but they’ll never cost a team the win, and really in a game like yesterday they shouldn’t be able to anyway! | |
