It wouldn't be surprising to see all of our best players sold in the summer, leaving us with just the dross that nobody else wants.
Like Nathan Jones did with Bree, Martin will probably add to the dross with one or two journeymen surplus to requirements at Swansea. That would obviously not include any of their better players, like Piroe, because Swansea, like Luton last season, will need them to mount their promotion challenge.
Cynical or realistic? We'll see. I was feeling a bit more optimistic after the Liverpool game but the news that Russell Martin is almost certain to be our next manager put a damper on that. [Post edited 6 Jun 2023 13:53]
