I’m sure SR won’t even have thought about a replacement for Eckert so we’ll probably see Eckert sacked after losing to Blades and getting pumped by the Skates, then we’ll have two to three months with a caretaker manager while SR dither about which rookie to appoint next

We have a squad inflated with small midfield players and lacking a backbone of big, physical players who can win the ball on the ground and in the air.
We need 2 proper full-backs, a big centre half, a big centre forward and someone who can tackle in midfield (when you have to resort to Flynn Downes in that role, you know you're in deep trouble)

I agree. We’re gone from one disaster to the next.
I would say get rid now, Lallana can take charge of the next two games.
What we need is someone like Solskær or Gerrard. Both have pretty much failed miserably in their managerial career. Starting again with a basket case of a club just might work. Like Lampard at Coventry.
