Brilliant report on a brilliant day. Ayew pretending he had a head injury summed up his contribution when even his own players ignored him. Football so much more than price tags. JCS definitely limping on his left foot towards the end of the 1st half and kept feeling his ankle, so Cook coming on shows not wanting to take a risk. Chair back over Christmas as well. Agree Clive I think the next 2 games will tell us a lot about this team. Mbengue played a lot of games at RB for Reading so no surprise he is comfortable there. Clive thanks again |

I am the least critical fan I know and like a lot of us only qualified in opinion making. But 5 games in 15 days and 4-0 up meant the luxury of early subs to rest legs. If ever Michi Frey was worth a risk surely yesterday to rest Kone, same with Burrell couldn’t we have bought Smythy on earlier to replace him.Not my decision but surely Poku and Smyth coming on with only 10 mins left too late.
I do note a 6 day rest til Boxing Day. |

Amazing amazing report. I watched the game from 30,000 ft while the rest of the plane was asleep ( I’m not a pilot btw) airline Wi-Fi lost signal or whatever on the 91st minute but still getting notifications. Woke a few with a Bollox and then more with COYRs. I missed Hull, WBA and Brum so see you next season.

The ball was either going through to Nardi or out of play, Cook was back peddling, why didn’t Nardi call for it. Just for the record I haven’t been brave enough to look at the video but from near half way in the Stan Bowles stand that’s how it looked to me and those around me. So free kick possibly forgive but the through ball not. |

Thanks Clive, great to see positivity.
Re Harvey Vale he is potentially that good, that he could play a number of roles,, which might work against him. If Madsen was injured or suspended ( that won’t happen) Vale would be my 1st choice in front of the back 4.

Seems appropriate with the Ashes about to start, “ Penguins Stopped Play” true story of an amateur cricket team that toured the world. You know when you are reading on holiday and the whole family are trying to get you to stop laughing as you are embarrassing everyone. My dad was on the same holiday, started reading it after me and I managed to know exactly where he was in the book so 2 of us basically pissing ourselves even though I wasn’t reading it. Then the family joined in and they hadn’t even read it, have photographic evidence. The joy of laughter |

The Spaceman has landed back on planet QPR
This is not going to be an easy one, not helped by the fact that they obviously won’t have had as many players away on international duties, surprised they are let out of South London at all bar away games.
Serious police presence, Uxbridge Road split into 2, we hate them, they don’t care, got to be 2-1 followed by even more police presence, Uxbridge Road a bit more scary, but we don’t care.

Not a fan of international breaks but if you believe the press this break ensures Chair and Poku are fit to return and even JCS, definitely Mbengue.
So the mad possibility that Walsh is the only injured 1st teamer.
Let’s play that game “ Who misses out”
Thinking Hayden or Sam are at risk of not being on the bench for a home game.
Mbengue on the bench as Cooky really looked like his old self.
RND ahead of Esquerdinha so does our Brazilian miss out completely.
Smythy, Vale, Saito, Dembele, Poku, Chair, Kolli?
I think the starting 11 picks itself but the options on the bench make for tough decisions for our favourite Frenchman.
