| Forum Reply | David Conn: There is more to lament about fallen Swansea than relegation at 13:47 16 May 2018
Not at all amigo. I'm not clapping and I'm certainly not happy. I'm not an active participant of the ST either but I do recognise that quaint old concept of apportioning the blame correctly and venting my anger in the necessary direction. So to repeat - what else could the Trust have done ? (once they no longer held a majority - thanks to the roofer, the shyster and vending machine salesman et al pulling the rug from under them) - what legal action can be taken ? (there was nothing limiting the shareholders from dumping other than the usual fiduciary duties to the club and the shareholders - good f'ing luck arguing those were breached down at the ChD) Point is - what good are you actually doing ball-acheing about it on here ?? Would dearly love to know what all the whingers on here a - think the Trust could have done more ? b - what recourse to legal action there is ? Seeing as Cocknose and his pals (including the shyster hotelier) sold to a consortium that then had a majority share... You lot do my head in... [Post edited 16 May 2018 12:54]

Yeah, really plausible. The fact that he was shouting "I want to kill all Muslims" and then contemptuously waving from the back of the police van really lends powerful credence to your theory. Moron ! |

I'm on a train back to Liverpool St packed with Spuds fans and, make absolutely no f'ing mistake, we are a total laughing stock. When an Australian says 'Eyy Mayr thii gaain deen' it says it all. The clueless slaphead Septic has to go. Sooner better... |

| Forum Reply | An Important Question about Treasury Shares and Authorized but not Issued Shares at 13:38 5 Nov 2014
Answers 1) The club does not have "authorised but unissued" shares 2) There are no "Treasury shares" This is a daft (as opposed to "important") question. You do realise that ? The club doesn't issue shares - they are not, and have never been, floated on any exchange or other market - and buy them back on inventory. All ownership is accounted for... Mel's shares were distributed proportionally among the existing shareholders. [Post edited 5 Nov 2014 13:43]

OK, I've seen the film and claiming it's not a vanity project is like saying Disney don't make films for kids. I mean come on..... It's watchable, I will give you that - but its retelling of history is as skewed as Cameron's opinion on the EU. [Post edited 24 Oct 2014 12:57]

Yep. I was also at the f3k and concur. A lot of familiar 'faces' and many of them did not give a great account of themselves. So it wouldn't surprise me one bit. Bellends... |

Didn't you say somewhere "I would vote Conservative" very recently ? Then surely, as a champion of the freeest of free markets, and every man for himself economics, I thought you'd be in a position to fully endorse this idea ? Surely, one cannot get in the way of the pure science of supply and demand and its influence on pricing ?? Make your mind up ffs !! |

Just awed with incredulity that anyone could call Green Street anything other than the biggest pile of toss ever... Although the (incredibly un)talented Charlie Hunnam's turn as a Cockney (or is it Australian ? who can tell...) hardnut does make it compelling watching in a so-dreadful-it's-ace kind of way... Even better than casting Frodo as a hooligan.. [Post edited 23 Jul 2014 9:27]

Sorry, I'm, by necessity, an occasional visitor.. but what is this mad outbreak of love for Ingurlund about ? Speaking as someone who's lived across the Severn for more years than he did to the west of it, I still don't get it. At all.... And before someone replies, in the usual levels of politeness that seem to be customary here, "we have England fans dickhead" - yes, I know !! It seems more than that though...
