Thanks Clive. Apologies for adding something else to your plate. Will take screenshots and send if that's helpful. To be honest I think historically the way they've presented ads has nailed it. Forums where there's an ad between posts makes it really hard to follow the comments (I guess maybe that's the point to make it seem as if an ad is a post so people read it), but off to the side has always made the experience better. |

Anybody else notice that these are getting a bit intrusive the last few days? No problem at all with having ads, understand the bills have to be paid, but for me at least they're sometimes taking up about 80% of the screen at the moment without really being able to close them easily. |

We'll ignore a) the football wasn't actually that good and b) couple of folks on the palace side had clearly been slipped a few quid.

Interesting idea about going backwards. A lot of the tippy tappy Pep stuff only works if everyone can do it. I'd imagine that "mavericks" and the "workers" would have skillsets that transcend tactics and translate well, but those technical players without much else to their game would struggle. |

You take our world cup winning team of 1966, in their prime, and magically transport them to today. Same manager, same tactics, same formation etc.
How far down the pyramid would they have to go to win a match?
With better physique, technique, stamina etc and tactics (there's a reason we don't play 4-2-4 anymore) there's no question they'd get destroyed by say today's current England team. Is there anyone in the Premier League they'd beat? Would they beat todays QPR team? |

Oof. I like data. I work with data for a living and enjoy what I do. But man this is stretching even my limits, I can only imagine how irritating this must be for people that want an actual answer.
I actually expected him to say we were in the twelfth percentile for beer served per capacity by the time we got to that point

My dad is a former ref (got up to football league level as linesman but never did prem). This was the first year he hasn't had a season ticket for 15 years at QPR but he decided to go today for the first time this season.
Got halfway there before he saw Gavin Ward was the ref, thought about not bothering. That's how bad his reputation is at this point. |

Yeah I have no problem with that, with 3 teams qualifying from most groups only ourselves to blame if we can't pick up a win or two so happy that we're playing legitimate opponents |
