Results of Saturday morning google of "Belgian criminal law" led me here https://www.fairtrials.org/app/uploads/2022/01/Criminal-Proceedings-and-Defence- And I felt the need to post this from page 20: Q28. Do I have to be present [at the trial]? No, unless the court requests your presence. It is, however, generally in your interest to attend court hearings (although this is not a written rule, in practice judges often consider that defendants who do not appear at trial must not care about what they have done, and they may hand down more severe sentences). You should ask your lawyer for advice on your specific situation. Oops. Apparently gap from trial to appeal normally takes six months or more (they have a backlog ... I mean it could never happen here) |

Has anyone figured out travel to or from Prague to middle-of-nowheres-berg? Asking for a friend who hypothetically might have noticed this fixture on the offish, for a weekend at which he was at a loose end, not read the small print, somehow not seen this thread until it was too late and he had already booked flights to and from Prague and a hotel in Prague ... and in fact had he not seen this thread yesterday would have been travelling to the wrong Raffestein Arena on the day of the game ... I .. I mean he ... would really appreciate it |

Someone has just written a book on this. Spent some considerable time getting leathered and then trying out different cures. Pop “Shaughnessy Bishop-Stall” (I kid you not) into google. His cures include taking the following before going to bed: milk thistle, B vitamins and N-acetylcysteine. Before work Xmas party went to Holland and Barrett, bought the lot. The N-acetyl stuff was the most expensive - over with the bodybuilding stuff. Tried it. Weirdly seemed to work. I’m an old bloke who can’t drink like I used to and tend to feel ropy the day after. So am sticking with it as now have big bottles of all 3. Otherwise a fry up. |

@Lblock: Kasteel Cru was amazing stuff - beer with champagne yeast. Sadly discontinued. I used to work at the brewer that owned the brand. Never sold well - was never marketed properly. I had some of the last crates ever. Peroni - now that's the other way round. Average beer, great font and glass. |
