Look at the winning goal - the ball damn near goes in the centre of the goal.
He's too deep in the goal, and doesn't cut the angle at all.
In no way is he a professional keeper. |

Well, he was just a shit Steven Gerrard; then again, Gerrard was a shit Steven Gerrard.
Two way over-rated w@nkers.
Still remember Lampard giving the ball away against Germany and then jogging back as IIRC, Germany scored their 5th in a 5-1 thrashing.
Lampard has a mug just crying out for a fist. |

I'll be boycotting because they didn't let the Faroe Islands and Vanuatu into the finals - heck, once you have 48 countries, you might as well have 148. At least then, Italy would have a chance of qualifying. |

Nice stats. You don't mention anything about 'how' each of them plays the position.
Because you have no idea what makes a good keeper.
McCarthy is an excellent shot-stopper, capable but not great at crosses, and poor at decision-making with the ball at his feet (he should never be played a ball under pressure because he does not see the pitch like an outfield player and takes too long to pick an outlet).
Bazunu is a poor shot-stopper who has terrible footwork, is too deep in his goal, doesn't cut the angles down, is purely reactionary, and can't read the game, but his distribution is OK. Good. Play him at centre-back then. |

As I've noted before, his footwork is terrible.
He's not on the balls of his feet for the first and dives from a flat-footed position, and no hop to the right to generate power and width on the dive.
On the third, he doesn't have his feet set when the ball arrives at the far post, so can only flail at the weak shot as it goes by.
He will never be a decent keeper.
He plays goal like an outfield player pressed into action due to an emergency. |
