Couldn't get there today but have just spoken to a mate on the phone who said it was back to the wall stuff especially when they added on the 6 minutes. Said the keeper was exceptional and the who back four played well but said we lacked any sort of quality or movement in midfield and looked content to defend for much of the game. I suppose it's what you want at the moment away from home just to build confidence and get some points on the board. |

I just think that the whole pre-match registration news, Pearce's welcome, the pre-season lack of time to gel, players out of position and two great goals undid us. Wish we would have gone for it a bit more but in fairness the result was about right. Not the one sided game that Forest fans made out and enough to feel we won't be the worst team in the league but I hope the Club Secretary is sat at home writing 100 lines of 'I must register players before a game'!! |
