A great player to watch with his overlapping runs down the left, "Peachey runs" as they were then called. Also a solid defender in that hard back line. As you said Nick, he also had a great record from the penalty spot. |

Well put Nick, and nicely summarised. A huge disappointment that it has come to this, but its something I`m sure the club will recover from. With regards to MoPo leaving, then that must be a huge cause for concern as the last twelve months have seen vast improvements not only on the field but within the spirit of the squad. Time to rally round, and given our previous battles, give our fantastic club and owners the support it deserves. |

Well summarised Nick. I agree with the 10th to 18th place point including us possilbly finishing 10th. It just shows how tight the league is, and fair play to Saints for surving their first season back. Considering there were some seasoned prem clubs in the mix it can be considered a good result. Toss in the management change which can always be disruptive, and some inconsistent performances, this season can be classed as a good result. Sort out the chairman issue, and make the signings/changes that are necessary, then there is no reason why Saints should not be able to consolidate their place in the prem. A good years experience for the whole club |

Queued for hours up the Milton Road, and was still trying to get in when the team came out. The roar of the crowd made the hairs on the back of the neck stand up. As loud and proud as two days earlier. Never manged to get in but stayed on the pavement outside with many others having a few tins. Great times! |
