I'll give you Toulouse instead of Bordeaux. I've been to Bordeaux, for Rugby World Cup and Olympic football, but never Toulouse. It's a bit further than Bordeaux but I'll grit my teeth and do it. |

I'd thought about going in 2026. Not any more, with that orange lunatic running the USA.
IIRC, virtually every US ground is out of town, with virtually zero public transport, so that's another reason. |

I cannot believe the recruitment is down to 1 I dividual. I imagine Marti gives a brief to Belk's ream. Belk tries to find someone to meet that brief and it all gets discussed between Belk, Marti and Nourry. Nourry then does the contracts, recognising our budgetary restrictions.
If CN doesn't reveal contract details, so be it. But, other aspects of the club could be communicated better. |

I remember the French team that won the World Cup. With Zidane, Viera, Petit, Thuram and Henry. But they still needed the hod carrier in Didier Deschamps. |

Harsh on Bennie;. Wasn't that his first start? He was recruited as a winger, or a defensive midfielder, not as our only striking option. |

I believe, as a rule, that it is 5 on 3 occasions. But they seem to have built in some wiggle room.
Field, apparently, went to hospital for a concussion check but it did look like his ankle, again was the main issue. |

Madsen and Bennie to support Smyth? Andersen played himself out of the starting XI?
Marti had said that he wasn't keen to throw Kolli in after just 2 training sessions. He'll probably get 20 minutes depending how the game is going.
Team selection doesn't inspire much confidence in an already depressed fan base. |

The combination of a tiny budget, comparatively, and a horrific injury list would hamper any manager. I'm just hoping that we get the 1 win we will need and do enough to stay up. I want to see Marti stay for stability. I think there are some bright sparks on the horizon. Morrison, Morgan, Saito, Kolli and Lloyd have all come on. There seems to be some decent prospects in the DS, particularly Sutton , Dillon and Tuck.
The worry is the number of senior players out of contract. I don't want us to do another European supermarket sweep, where 1 in 3 work out. |
