Why are so many bashing Nourry ??
at 08:57 25 Apr 2025

The reason 'posters' are 'slagging' Nourry is because they think that he is over riding MC on most issues basically and running the club badly. Things like transfers, DofF stuff, people matters, too young, etc, etc.

Bottom line is that only a very few indeed actually know the 'inner workings' of the Club but 'posters' like to think that they do know and most of it are just guessing and expressing their own views without any evidence.

Personally, I have heard 'much stuff' from a 'proper lad' but I find most of it unbelievable but I don't actually know whether what I am being told is correct or not - if it is then the Club is in big trouble.

Frey is an old man and so is Colback........no issues. Never said that Colback was a 'young man'.

I am not a stats man really but those stats tell you a story when you think of the amount of times the CB's get the ball. You do not get to play in the Premier if you cannot pass the ball......and Colback has. He is one of, if not, the best passer in the Club. But, hey, let make up stories that he cannot pass and his legs are gone. His passing ability is a major asset and he frequently has space to take a pass from a team mate, even at throw ins where he gets us going very well..

I understand Colback is getting old, so was Steve Gerrad when he captained Liverpool in the Premiership at 36!!!......

Well, we have been doing quite well over the season when Colback has played....and very well the last 3 matches which kept us in the Championship.

So, as far as I am concerned, Colback has played a big part getting us points over the past several matches......but you think he should not be starting next season and should be a back-up, whats the difference from now & later?? If he is fit and ready and we get him within our finance budget and he wants to stay & play then we should sign him & play him if he is playing well, like he has recently but basically whenever he plays. Basically, you are talking nonsense about Colback saying 'as a back-up'!!! As a Manager/Coach, you want players wanting to play, not players just collecting their wages.

So, re Varane replacement, you would play Morgan who is an offensive player who has not been 'doing it' recently and leave Colback, the 'old boy' whom you would only have his as 'back-up' to run the show defensively in midfield. Did you moan about having Madsen & Anderson playing and now you want Morgan in the side!!!, three forward thinking players, playing together and Colback protecting the back four (they would really enjoy that!!!). I do not want to break the CB partnership but, please, come up with a proper solution/alternative!!!

Madsen work ethic has been good the last couple of matches, nothing worse than others imho. And as Norf, and as I have seen, has said he has been a creating good chances recently and deserves his selection.

It is not easy for the Manager to select a team when you have so many injuries......but I am glad it is MC and not you!!!

All very strange!!!!

One minute you praise Colback (which he deserves for his decent performance on the day) then you say 'Colback would be a 'bench option for next season' - why?? Colback is good for the Team.

Not sure MC had many other options but to move Edwards into midfield and provide some cover for our defence - what were his other options??

Re Madsen, been doing much better, playing well, so why should he not be in the starting 11?? He passed the ball for our goal - good vision pass too as well as very tidy pass ball indeed!!! and overall played his part and worked quite hard throughout.

Paal, like it or not, is the best LB at the Club, by far......nobody gets close to him.

Not sure about all these other left sided defender type playerswe have signed but if they are as good as Paal, then that is good otherwise we should be talking to him about a new contract.

Another player who gets abuse when it isn't fully warranted although he has had a couple of howlers.

It is all down to money basically, he should be paid as a back-up left sided defender centre back. To replace him would only be 'free' if we have an academy player ready to do the back-up job. Anyone else will cost and I want most of our budget spent on a forward who will score goals.

Swansea were better than us basically especially upto around 70 minutes.....played the ball around well.

I thought Kolli, Anderson & Yang were not good......got better when we brought on Paal, Frey & Demebele.

I knew it would be difficult when I saw the Team line up.

1 - Madsen did OK again today even though the overall team performance was not good.
2 - MC played Colback & Edwards defensive midfield 2 with Madsen, Anderson & Yang ahead of them with Kolli up front.

Do QPR have a manic Monday in them after a very Good Friday? Preview
at 10:50 21 Apr 2025

We have been 'proper' unlucky with key injuries this season and now another two important players out, proper choker that because both players are very busy when they play and are important to us. Given that we had a bit more luck in the availability area we would be chasing the top 6, we have a very decent set of starting players and have coped well without key players. And don't forget how well MC and his Team have done - he wants 3 points against Swansea and play well and we will get the points - they, like many of the Teams we have seen are average and we have better players.

We need players like Paal, Colback, Dunne, Varane, Morrison, Edwards (all very decent boys) to lead the Team to victory and Frey, Kolli, Dembele to take the chances in front of goal.

Ronnie Edwards - praise to the club when it’s due
at 08:54 21 Apr 2025

Do you not think that, and I cannot think of her name, the women that ran the Academy for several years has a major role in developing the youngsters in the Academy.

I have seen it is action and I know a QPR scout and to be honest it is pretty average indeed and, perhaps, why she is no longer involved and why we are not producing good young players.

Yesterday was his best game, created some very good chances but not taken.....he was far better than just 20/25 minutes in the other two matches.

You cannot live in this divison with 7.8 workhorses, you need a lot more. They all give the ball away frequently, not just Madsen!!!

The jury is still out on Celar but from what I have seen he has been very limited indeed.

Morgan has done OK in a match or two, at most, gives the ball away far too easily and done very little in other games, hence why is is getting splitters on the bench most weeks.....he has a long way to go before he gets the sort of praise you are giving him from me.

Dunne is massive for us and we should listen very carefully to his agent as to what he wants to stay here.

His prime job in the Team is offensive work....he is doing that pretty well imho.

Defensively, he needs to get better but he is working ok(ish) at shutting players down and getting in defensive positions - much improved.......far better than Kolli, who should have closed the ball down a lot better for their goal.
