Right decision at the right time 2 weeks to sort something out. Sorry for AS but he would admit it just hasn't worked out.
Wouldn't be surprised at Liam Manning joining us.
Did well at Brizzle just not the right fit at Delia's gaff.

If I recall correctly he was quite happy to not push for the managers role after his first spell as caretaker.
After two spells he must have thought hey I can do this after all.
It's simply not working and he surely realises that now perhaps the club should offer him the opportunity to step down rather than be dismissed because it's highly unlikely that he will get a managers job elsewhere.

I'm sure at a club our size any success and our manager would probably get a calling from a ''Bigger Club''. Look at Edwards at Boro. He's off after a good start with them.

Goals conceded would suggest he's not doing a bad job.
I would prefer a centre half who see's danger and clears his lines rather than play suicide football from the back if that is not his strength.
Of our new signings to date he's not as disappointing as most of the players we have stumped up cash for.

It's as if not the right thing to do for a while as everyone wanted to be a football purest.
I don't mind it if it adds a bit of excitement.
Who knows if we adopt it we may create a few scoring chances.

Sitting 7th after 5 games would generally be viewed with optimism. However when you look at the points we've gained. 6pts against the Sheffield clubs that are getting pumped by most teams and two home draws against clubs currently occupy 17th and 20th position seems to point to rather less optimism.
Our next 5 games should tell us what to really expect. Brum Blackburn and Soton away. Millwall and Leicester home. Another 8 points from that lot?

Pavarotti couldn't wait to get rid of Nuno after last seasons fallout. Likewise I reckon Nuno couldn't wait to go either but refused to walk without a payoff.

I seem to recall a song about Sgt Sinnett is our friend. Not sure the name is correct.
Very early 70s when as I remember there would be police at the back of the north bank behind the Bovver Boys. Anyone remember that?

Positivity= 8.5 Owners have turned around what we have come expect.

Expectations 6-7 most clubs have recruited well. Hopefully top 6 but expecting top 10.

Sheehan 7 He has a brand new squad more or less. Time will tell hopefully he's the right man long term.

Our signings of previous seasons tended to be perhaps one good purchase in 3 or 4.
