I agree with almost all you post mate, but not here. Just because he wants a bit more money, doesnāt mean we should fk him off.
Itās fair to want more, yet heās not stropping or being sly, heās being totally honest and openly saying he wants to wait until he sees if others are willing to match his ideas. Heās not closely linked to the club, so really doesnāt have any other ties, yet still would prefer to stay with us than move, as heās stated this many times.
Our owners are known to be stinjy as hell, yet our players are at fault for wanting to negotiate š¤·āāļø He hasnāt said heās not going to sign at the rates he was offered, just that he wants more time. Totally fair imo and I really hope we manage to convince him,
Yeah I can see where youāre coming from, but heās got no real connection to the club, so itās natural to be more self centred about these things in that case.
I agree he went about things the wrong way last time, but being a bit naive and then a bit stroppy doesnāt make him a bad guy or someone who would intentionally harm them club (I know you didnāt say heās that).
I agree he should take the 1 year, as thatās normal procedure at his age. But if he thinks heās worth more money than theyāre offering, then thatās a different story. He deserves to be up there with our highest paid imo. If heās not, then heās got the right to look elsewhere, especially as itās likely close to his last decent contract.
Surely itās common practice, not to reduce the wages of your best players? He should at least get a small increase, in line with other staff/players, but also IMO another small boost due to his abilities and form. Letās be honest, take out that blip when he was stropping and heās probably been by far and away our best performer who is still at the club.
ā And when the forbidden months have passed, kill the idolaters wherever you find them and take them prisoners, and beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent and observe Prayer and pay the Zakat, then leave their way free. Surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.ā
To me that smacks of a bible story. When God said to kill all who worship idols and statues. Itās basically the exact same story.
Aye, but not all players need a reduction. Iām not aware what Pato is on, but heās consistently one of our stronger and most reliable performers, in multiple positions.
33 may be a bit of a push for a longer contract, but we definitely should not be reducing his wage surely? Canāt blame him for leaving if that happenss
It is a risk, and youāre right LW will have no excusesā¦but thereās not many who bang in as many as this lad, at any level. Heās clearly a higher level than L2. And by a stretch by the look of his stats. Same as Jones. Whether that level is the Championship yet is the risk.
Langstaff in his prime, but a bidding war probably wonāt go our way. Jones a bit younger so more time with him.
But I agree totally. If Rushworth doesnāt come back, we need a permanent signing. If he doesnāt come back, that will probably mean they sell him for upwards of 20m. We have one of the best gk coaches in the land, yet we are not putting him to work on our own players. Well we are, but not out main one.
Iāve already said, if they stopped their targeting of civilians and went back to how they used to work, yes. I donāt agree that they wanted to wipe out Israel. Maybe they do now, if the quotes are true.
But I still maintain, Israel are way worse than Hamas.
Just found out that Israel is the grape capital of the Middle East. Yes, Israel. And they allow pedos from US and around the world to move there, to continue their crimes against Palestinians.
I am happy with LW now, but I would have preferred Davies at the point where we had no manager. Itās terrible that he turned us down and took a lower job imho. Thatās the fault of our owners.
