It’s all about the PR war. Marti is so far ahead in the popularity stakes that he just has to go. He’s hugely popular with the fans, hugely popular with the players and seems to be a genuinely nice guy. All too much for Noury’s 28 year old ego. |

A less generous interpretation would be that the club made up the story about WBA (WBA) deny the whole thing) to avoid paying up his contract (NOT compensation) if they sacked him. Either way they’ve made a hash of it.Could he now claim Constructive Dismissal having made his position untenable ? |

Wouldn’t be too sure there’ll be much of a queue. Even if you do a better job than Marti you still face the sack and there’s also the spurious allegations of applying for the WBA job when Albion say it never happened. |

Sometimes it’s a good ball that no one ran onto.
I saw Stanley play for Brentford a couple of times and he chipped the occasional perfectly weighted ball into a space beyond the defence and got booed because there was no one there. Remember Gerry and Dave Thomas ? |
