If we could have recalled him he'd be on the team sheet tonight.

Old blokes angrily arguing the toss about what did or didn't happen 30 years ago and why (or why not).

37 year old Jamie Vardy was still able to score 18 in the Championship last season.

38 year old Jamie Vardy only able to score 8 in the PL this season.

Maybe we could get 39 year old Jamie Vardy next year. He'd still comfortably be our best striker. Pay as you play deal, obviously.

Good luck. Behaviour like that demands consequences.

I'd be looking to land him in court for that and it'd be an easy conviction with the number of witnesses.

Dembele's corners were quite decent by our standards, had the keeper scrambling every time. Although he must have been a dodgy keeper because usually they pluck those out of the air and give a thumbs up to the taker.

Let's give him both barrels.

More hard working east Asians and fewer lazy n words. That's the ticket.

Whatever Gregory's crimes might have been, I doubt they are in any way comparable to those of Fayed and Abramovich!

I'd rather be where we are than a Fulham or Scum fan with their respective legacies.

We do like to give players a pass and blame greedy agents/deluded parents.

I'm not so sure. They're grown adults in charge of their own lives and can make their own choices.

Well, it is true that our average position since relegation is 15.1. So we're actually performing ahead of perception.

To bring our average position to exactly 16th we'll need to finish...24th. Gulp.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but no ex R has scored against us in the league this season.

Blackburn on the other hand have the same dire one point from the last six games as we do.

None of us are happy we've managed one point from six games, why should anyone at the club be?

The Zone of Interest by Martin Amis. Uncomfortable read to put it mildly.

Ooh, I'm not sure about that.

Apparently Field points at other people because he can't be bothered to do it himself and the only talking Cook does is to bawl people out for his own mistakes.

Your first sentence may well be right.

Sure, he made no impact for us. But the facts have changed since he last played in a Championship game. We're in no position to spurn a player who is one of the top scorers in League 1 and already ours.
