Haven't seen 18stone post for a while, good to hear he's still on the firm.

W Ham losing last night good or bad thing?
at 16:11 7 Jan 2026

When was the last time we knocked out a top division club in the FA Cup?

The results are here but the club's divisions aren't noted: https://www.qprhistory.co.uk/a

Maybe we're at cross purposes here.

Whatever a player is being paid by his home club - which he'll be getting regardless of where or whether he's playing - is immaterial to the loanee club. I'm sure there are exceptions but generally a club borrowing a player from a higher division is not going to be paying the full whack where the player's wages are commensurate with his home club's level. So, I would be astonished if a club in QPR's position re P&S is paying prem level wages for anyone. It's just not credible - as you concede re Richards.

As for the 'data', it's not data it's speculation. It might be accurate, it might not, the point is it can't be relied on, so it has no use in a cogent argument.

No difference. Who in their right mind thinks we're going to win this?

Virgin Media? Because they are straight up liars, the worst.

How do you know this, given that even contract lengths aren't being disclosed?

Loan players come because they've been loaned and it suits all parties. Do you reckon we were getting Taylor Richards' full whack when he was out on loan?

We need a full public enquiry on this now, chaired by fully qualified independent counsel.

You have all the Elizabeth line stations to choose from, too. I'd be looking at somewhere like Harold Hill, probably free street parking there on a Sunday (check parkopedia).

Just to put this result in the context of Wednesday's other results, they've been beaten by more than three goals and conceded more than three only once, both in the same game (0-5 v Coventry).

It was their sixth 3-0 reverse, so not an unusual score but we're in good company there.

I'm happy. We don't have to win by at least four to nothing and play the most scintillating, faultless football we've ever seen at Loftus Rd for me to enjoy a win.

Mark Wright, based on one game at LR where he exerted an unprecedented gravitational pull on aerial balls that physicists to this day are unable to explain. I think he won every single header in his own half.

Somewhat similarly, Graham Kavanagh for (I think) Sunderland. Ran the midfield like it was dads v toddlers, we couldn't get near him.

A brace for Kelman today as Charlton grabbed a draw at the mighty Blackburn.

I think someone's a bit disappointed with the win today as it got in the way of a good moany rant, so he's found another target.

Never seen two neighbouring houses one of which has rotten windows and the other doesn't (UPVC excepted obviously)?

It might be dry now but not long ago we had what amounted to a mini monsoon season when it rained almost every day.

That is incredibly ignorant, unless it came from someone at the club whose role has nothing to do with football and never watches games.
