Mine was just imo too. Surprised by how defensive and personally you've taken it, so swings and roundabouts I guess

Who Knew Walsh Was So Good?
at 09:56 12 Jan 2026

Watched the highlights (I was so far back it was like watching ants) and there's some good saves

A cynic in me would say Walsh was picked to make sure he was on the telly, but he was good

West hams ground....
at 09:26 12 Jan 2026

I had a lovely day before and after first in Crate brewery, then after until closing in Howling Hops over at Hackney Wick. Feeling it today. Was surprised by how not that busy both were though.

The ground is trash though. It was great for the Olympics and Paralympics cos that's what it's there for. You're watching different things at different times around the stadium. And it wasn't designed for the massive pinch points you have in a shorter event like kick off, half time and full time.

Absolutely soul less though. Never seen so many make so little noise

I was on row 69 (nice) and in the second half I thought "I'll just piss myself if I need the loo again cos my hammies haven't got that in them"

it's a weird bit he has, because Kone is from West Africa, he must be lying about his age you see!

I'm someone who hasn't seen the hype with Kolli, so fair play, he was excellent yesterday.

Don't really get the Kone slagging but to criticise him for yesterday seems strange, as he had a rough job for the team where he had to drop deep to link play to fix their defenders to give Kolli and Smyth space, and then get forward to do Burrel's pressing too.

I thought our forward press was excellent yesterday (,just a shame we often returned the ball so quickly) and Kone ran himself to dust executing it

He also scored, but I guess not in the right way? Bizarre take

It's not buy cheap sell high, it's about selling for more - and the prospect of that is much higher when the player is a) sub 23, b) an England U21 international and c) even if it's just once, has played in the Prem

Nothing is guaranteed in football, but the underlying case for this investment is rock solid

Burrel out until March

Madsen took a pretty clattering bang on the ankle vs Wednesday and was clearly instructed he had to keep playing. Didn't look comfortable at all for the rest of the game

Innit. People have had reservations with our fitness regime all season. I don't think it's outlandish for us to ask questions or raise eyebrows when a load of our players suffer a similar muscle injury.

I noted at the end of the window, our fittest & sharpest players seemed to be those who hadn't pre seasoned with us (Kone, Burrell, Saito). Interesting they're now injured or looking sluggish

W Ham losing last night good or bad thing?
at 11:00 8 Jan 2026

Weirdly on Boxing Day on ITV Racing he said he couldn't do it cos he goes racing every Saturday.

Then I remembered that every syllable that comes out of his mouth is bollocks

I don't usually bother adding replies like this any more, but I must say that you really demean your legitimate criticism by adding an unnecessary lazy trope in the middle for no real benefit or purpose

Quite enjoyed that we waited for 2-0 to give Bannan grief. There was a point where he had a dig from distance and I involuntarily shouted "NOT HIM!!"

Quite enjoyed his cameo as a target man. Was that an assist with his first touch?

Kolli's performance yesterday brought to mind Rolling Stone magazine's assessment of Weezer; "the worst band to release two classic albums"

Some lad at the front of PU was giving him pelters so I loved Rayan staring him out when he scored
