Many people by Rochdale standards, it's not in anyway a dig at the supporters we have, those doing the things they do behind the scenes are heroic, but as far as selling a club goes, the size of it's customer base isn't big enough.
There is an apathy in the town as far as the football club is concerned, then you have the fans who will only support us when things are ok or going well. I've never understood that sort of support. |

We must be the only fan based club that has no fans, that's the ultimate problem with Dale, a lack of interest in the town.
Good luck to everyone trying hard to save us, it looks a hard task.

What about picking a game where everybody puts away their season ticket and buys a full priced one instead?
Maybe we could pick three from now till the end of the season.
I know we shouldn't have to, but at the same time the club needs money but nobody outside the club is going to help. |

It was bad today, and in isolation that is allowed, Halifax grafted all day closing is down.
We had a definite plan second half to work the ball around waiting for an opening through the middle, with one good ball carving them open, the movement worked the run worked but the final ball never. All the football before this is just part of the plan, and credit them for their patience and their ability to keep the ball for long enough periods. But that final ball was never good enough.
I can only praise Halifax today, they did a job on us, it was a nothing game, neither side did enough to win, but we made a big error, they didn't, we lost. |

With a month left before the season starts, surely anybody half decent will still be edging their bets and waiting to see what offers come in, how far down the list are the Dale now in terms of catching these players, think we will have to sit tight for a while yet and see what's left on the table at the end |

I see Oldham are doing some good business already.
They seem to have really took to being in the Nat Lge in a positive manner and I think it's the best way, the crowds they have been getting will no doubt have helped with their recruitment.
It's a shame we seem to have taken a different approach and though it's understandable, constant negativity isn't going to help, and not turning up to watch will really cost us in the long run |

I stand to be corrected, but i read that season tickets work out at £8.50 a game, if this is true I find it way under priced, I mean surely a minimum would be £10 a game, seems to me we have one of the lowest priced season tickets and one of the smallest fan bases, and I wonder how the club is to fight it's way back into the league with such a limited amount of income.
Is there anybody on here that thinks £10 a game would be too much? |

Plus points, he did get a tune out of a squad we all wrote off as rubbish.
He did get goals out of a squad we all said couldn't score.
Has he got experience, no. Jim Bentley did have though
For me most important thing is has he got the contacts to bring decent players, for the level, in.
Has he got a network, if he has then I would go with him. |

We need a manager who has a thick black book full of players he knows, a manger is nothing I'd he can't get a good squad together, has McNulty got the contacts?
Yesterday was about as bad as I've seen.
We kicked off pumped the ball to them and didn't really get it back until they scored.
All our main players had awful games.
Hendo offered nothing, and we didn't give him much
Brierley seemed like a rabbit in the headlights, and couldn't get rid of the ball quick enough.
Kelly always tries, but again nothing went right for him.
Lloyd again worked hard but no end product at all.
Defensively had so much to do, but most of it stemmed from a poor pass by us, the passing was worful all round.
We crumbled against a big unit, won't be the first or last team to do so .
Losing to Bradford isn't what loses us our league status. It s the defeats against those around us. |

Would deffo look to sign Odoh and Hendo on. Odoh has looked very good recently, best player for me yesterday as well. Hendo at that level would score enough goals to make a new contract worthwhile I'm sure |

Away support hasn't been great at Spotland this season has it, on the whole, plenty of clubs have only taken up one block in the main stand.
Could certainly fit most away teams support into the Sandy so I'm not sure of the difference being in the National League will make |

I think they sacked RS too soon, we will never know what he would have done with his squad, and instead was left with a manager who isn't capable, and we blame RS for that as well.
Remember throughout this disastrous season, we have very rarely took a pasting, and I believe a manager with decent tactical nounce would have got results from some of the very narrow defeats we have had, the fine margins as Jim calls them. |

Every season that passes only ups the value of Keith Hills tenure as Dale Manager, not much joy before him, and certainly nothing since, the miracle worker, he deserves a statue, he really does.
A true legend, will we ever see the likes again?? |

I'm pretty sure if RS had a real choice he would have spent the money elsewhere also, but we have to be realistic and realise we don't get the choices we want, we choose the best of what's left, I remember there being few complaints when Ball was signed. |

Seems to be the excuse of the season failure.
Begs the question, has any Rochdale manager ever actually had the team they want?
I mean surely we are always getting the players that are left behind during each transfer window.
And if the players JB took on where half decent then we wouldn't have lost our first four and he wouldn't have had a job to apply for.
So it's a poor excuse, and he has failed to improve them in any shape or form.
He done well to get Lloyd and Malarkey here though in fairness
