ive always said they blamed the unions for ruining this country, since the unions have been "caged" we own nothing, and looks like w wont be producing anything, dont blame the workers blame the self servers. |

We should have learnt from the 80s, they shut the coke ovens as the powers to be thought it was cheaper to import already produced coke, once we stopped producing the price of coke shot up , so we had to build a coke producing plant again.
A recent you tube video where people went in and filmed the now redundant harbour and furnaces, where i worked on both, showed they were in drastic need of refurbishment, probably showing a lack of maintenance , which will lead to total breakdown, this must have been known and relayed to those that "lead us"
add to that the openong of anew big BF in india not long after ours shut speaks volumes, we need to produce at home "certain products" and not be held to ransom by others. and that has been our failure since Thatchers days. [Post edited 13 Apr 10:00]

I said months ago I couldnt see why they are up there, watched some of the game today, and to think the side we beat only a few days ago beat them, sums them up, they showed nowt in the part I watched ....the result humps pressure of our crapital city fc. |

Well I enjoyed that one for a change. lol, Pilgris last night were poor, but we sped it up a bit for a change. oh how lucky we are to see a player like Joe when hes on form, eom looked last night hed be a class player once he settles down to eating at rossis ,
Overall we had performances from several players that we had been told they were capabale of. Lets hope it continues
oh and Darling, sign that contract....though we know he wont.
